Police said the arrests were the culmination of a multi-month investigation by the Sarnia Police Major Case Action Team (MCAT), the Intelligence Bureau and the Criminal Intelligence Service of Ontario (CISO).

Sarnia Deputy Chief Ron Hansen said he's thankful for the support from other police services in the area.

“Our MCAT and Intelligence units have done an exemplary job leading this expansive and complex project," said Hansen. "Our ongoing modernization within SPS has included ensuring our investigative teams are equipped with current technologies, necessary resources, and critical access to provincial support from CISO.
