Lambton OPP say the driver of a car was assaulted after crashing into a ditch in St. Clair Township on Wednesday, December 17.
Police were called to Kimball Road, south of Bentpath Line, at around 6:15 a.m. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
Police said a passerby stopped to offer assistance, and a second vehicle also stopped.
It's alleged the driver of that vehicle assaulted both the passerby and the individual involved in the collision before leaving the scene.
The suspect is described as a black female with white braided hair, white glasses, and was wearing a grey tracksuit.
The investigation remains ongoing.
