While strong wind gusts and blowing snow batter the region, the Municipality of Lambton Shores is preparing for its busy summer season.
The municipality is hiring seasonal staff, but the recruitment period will soon close.
Available positions include harbour attendant, beach patrol, maintenance, bylaw enforcement officer, and beach maintenance.
The busy season in Grand Bend typically starts around the Victoria Day long weekend in May, with thousands of visitors flocking to the Lake Huron resort community.
Applications are due by January 4, 2026, and can be submitted through the municipality's website.
The municipal building is currently closed for the holidays but will reopen on January 2, 2026.
