Sarnia police have released surveillance video of a stolen pick-up truck, used in a gasoline theft, and they're hoping to identify those responsible.
Police said the white 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, with Ontario licence plate 9982MW, was taken from a London Line business at around 2:20 a.m. on November 16, 2025.
According to police, security video showed two suspects, both of average build, dressed in dark clothing.
One wore a black hooded sweater with the hood up and a balaclava covering their face. The second suspect wore dark clothing with a blue hooded sweater and a balaclava.
The video shows the pair taking the truck from the back of the property and driving it off the lot after bypassing locked gates.
At around 7:40 p.m. that day, a man allegedly pumped $18 worth of fuel into the truck at the Shell gas station in Wallaceburg and took off without paying.
The suspect wore winter-style clothing, a hooded sweatshirt, and a face covering. It's unclear whether it's the same person involved in the initial theft.
Police said the stolen truck had a burnt-out rear passenger-side light.
