Police are investigating multiple thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles around Petrolia.
According to members of Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the incidents happened between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. on January 2.
Police determined that a suspect went to homes on Mulberry Place, Lasalle Line, Rosemount Drive, and Kettle Lane during that time, and tried to break into parked vehicles. Investigators believe the same person was involved in all of the thefts and attempted thefts that took place.
The suspect is described as a tall man with a thin build. He was said to be wearing an orange/brown jacket, dark pants, and dark shoes at the time of the incidents.
OPP also linked a white 2014 Dodge Durango to all of the incidents.
