Guelph Storm surge past Sting in overtime

The Sarnia Sting couldn't bare the storm and lost 3-2 in overtime Wednesday night to Guelph at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Ben Pickell  and Jacob Reese scored the two Sting goals and goalie Patrick Quinlan made 29 saves in the loss.

Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Quinn Beauchesne had two primary points for Guelph, including the game winning goal at 1:50 into overtime.

Sarnia travels to Sault Ste. Marie Friday night to face the Greyhounds.

The Sting defeated the Soo 6-5 in a shootout on Family Day when the Greyhounds made a stop in Sarnia.
