The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) will now be able to retrieve Kyaw "Chin" Doe from anywhere in the country.
A Canada Wide Warrant was issued for Doe on Wednesday, with a note from police saying that he may be attempting to alter his appearance.
The 24-year-old is the primary suspect in the fatal shooting of Dane Nisbet on April 10. He is wanted for one count of second degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, and possession of a firearm while prohibited.
Sarnia Police Chief Derek Davis has vowed to see Doe arrested, and at a recent press conference urged him to turn himself in.
Three others, Oudom "Richard" Bun, 23, of London, Ava-Leigh Lightheart, 19, of Sarnia, and Johnathan Osborne-Walsh, 19, of Sarnia, have already been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Three people were injured in the shooting including Nisbet, who was pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts at the scene and in the hospital. The other two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Funeral and visitation services have been scheduled for Nisbet, who is being remembered as a kind, positive, competitive young man.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, at Smith Funeral Home on London Line from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nisbet's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. the next day at Temple Baptist Church on Quinn Drive.
Anyone who may have any information about the investigation into the shooting or Doe's whereabouts is asked to contact Sarnia police at 519-344-8861 or Crime Stoppers at 519-332-8477 (TIPS).
