Volunteer information sessions regarding next year's International Plowing Match (IPM) and Rural Expo in Lambton County will be held in Wilkesport, Alvinston, and Point Edward over the coming weeks.
The 2027 IPM will be held in Brigden.
Lambton IPM Committee Chair Dennis Bryson previously said they're hoping to have 800 to 1,000 volunteers sign up.
During each of the upcoming information sessions, attendees will hear about the various volunteer roles available.
Guests do not need to preregister to attend. Meetings are listed below.
Tuesday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m.
Wilkesport Community Centre meeting room, located at 1622 Baby Line.
Wednesday, April 29, at 7 p.m.
Alvinston Legion, located at 3259 Nauvoo Rd.
Wednesday, May 6, at 6 p.m.
Tourism Sarnia-Lambton, located at 1455 Venetian Blvd. in Point Edward
The IPM hasn't been held in Lambton County since 1991.
This year's IPM will be held in Bruce County from September 22 to September 26.
