A long line of vehicles was seen on Monday evening approaching the Walpole Island First Nation Bridge heading to the island.
"At this time, the duration of the delay is unknown," read the post from the OPP. "Walpole Island police are on scene to assist with traffic flow and ensure safety. There are no safety concerns."
The OPP has asked drivers to plan ahead.
Sarnia police say a suspect wanted for the shooting death of a local junior hockey player has been arrested.
Justin Bourassa, 29, was shot and killed by London police nearly five years ago and an inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
