The body of a swimmer who went missing near Pinery Provincial Park has been found.
Lambton OPP were called at around 1 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a missing 28-year-old from Scarborough, who was last seen at the park's beach.
Two OPP vessels conducted the search, along with the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit and OPP Aviation Services.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) and Anishinabek Police Service also helped in the search.
On Thursday, visitors to the beach spotted the body of the swimmer and notified police.
The incident came just months after a similar tragedy at the park over the Victoria Day long weekend, when emergency crews responded to five people in distress on a raft in Lake Huron.
One person, a 22-year-old from Nepal, went missing during that incident, and their body was recovered on May 29.
