Five municipalities saw their mayors elected by acclamation: Joel Field takes over the top seat in Petrolia, while incumbent mayors Alan Broad in Dawn-Euphemia, Todd Case in Warwick Township, Kevin Marriott in Enniskillen Township, and Ian Veen in Oil Springs all return unchallenged.

Contested mayoral races are underway across the rest of the county, featuring a three-way contest in Brooke-Alvinston, alongside two-candidate races in Point Edward, St. Clair Township, Plympton-Wyoming, and Lambton Shores.
