Kurt Watson scored twice as the Komoka Kings shut out the LaSalle Vipers 7-0 at home Saturday night.
The Kings are now in third place in the GOJHL Western Conference with 14 points. The Vipers are in seventh place with 11 points.
Watson gave the Kings an early lead with the only goal of the first period, coming in at 7:32.
Komoka put additional distance behind themselves with three more goals in the middle frame. Luc Arsenault scored on the power play at 9:02, Joel Mazzilli made the score 3-0 Kings three minutes after that, then a Dario Beljo score extended the lead to 4-0 by the second intermission.
Jacob Rochford continued the Komoka onslaught in the third period. His goal was later followed by Watson's second of the night and one from Liam Whittaker, both on the power play.
Owen Say stopped all 34 shots he faced in goal for the Kings. Kurtis Walsh had 27 saves for the Vipers.
The Kings head to Chatham to take on the Maroons Sunday night. LaSalle hosts the St. Marys Lincolns on Wednesday.

The Mooretown Flags scored two late goals to put away the Petrolia Flyers 5-2 at home.
Mooretown is tied with Amherstburg for fourth place in the PJHL Stobbs Division with 13 points. Petrolia is in eighth place with four points.
The Flags put the first goal of the game up at 8:54 of the first period, when Matt Sawatzky lit the lamp. The Flyers then got two quick back-to-back goals to take the lead. Lucas Ross tied the game, then Zach VanEyk provided the go-ahead goal. Mooretown tied the game at 2-2 before the first intermission when Brock Perry scored.
Cameron Rannie's power play goal midway through the middle frame was the only goal scored in those 20 minutes, and it put Mooretown up 3-2.
Trevor Bogaert and Nolan Riley scored their goals within a minute of each other in the third to seal the win for the Flags.
Jake Wilkins took the win in net for the Flags, with 33 saves. Chaska Thiel had 43 saves for the Flyers.
Both teams hit the road Sunday night. Mooretown is at Essex for a matinee while Petrolia visits Amherstburg in the evening.

Quinton Pepper and Brett Whitehead scored two goals each as the St. Marys Lincolns beat the Rockets in Strathroy 5-1.
St. Marys moves into eighth place in the Stobbs Division with eight points. Strathroy is last with six points.
Pepper accounted for all of the scoring in the first period. His first goal came at 16:42, his second two-and-a-half minutes later to give the Lincolns a 2-0 lead.
A pair of additional goals were scored by St. Marys in the second period, both on the power play. Whitehead scored his at just 39 seconds into the segment, then Joe Mazur made the game 4-0 in favour of the Lincolns later in the period. Strathroy goalie Joshua Diamond was pulled for backup Vince Michelizzi.
The Rockets got on the board when Emmet Pierce scored unassisted at 3:44. Whitehead responded a little over two minutes later with a power play goal.
Justin Richer stopped all but one of Strathroy's 30 shots in net for St. Marys. Diamond and Michelizzi combined for 35 saves.
St. Marys hosts St. Thomas Sunday night while Strathroy visits the Stars next Saturday.
