An area of strong winds will continue to affect the region with gusts near 70 km/h expected until late this evening. Winds are expected to diminish slowly through Friday morning. Impacts could include broken tree limbs and local power outages.

The Sarnia Legionnaires are hosting the annual Penny Lilley Memorial Wooly Toss at their game on December 9.
When the team scores its first goal against Strathroy, fans are encouraged to throw hats, scarves, gloves and mitts onto the ice.
All of the donations collected support various local charities.
Donations can also be dropped off at D &amp; S Service Center at 810 Confederation St. and Aqua Pools &amp; Spa at 1792 London Line.
