Sarnia only needed 44 seconds of overtime to down the Brantford Bulldogs on Friday.
It was a back-and-forth game that had the Sting leading in the first and second periods, then trailing with less than five minutes left in the third.
Forward Andrew LeBlanc tied the game up, for his second point of the game, at 18:45 in the third.
LeBlanc's first point came as an assist on Easton Wainwright's opening goal in the first.
Too many men on the ice early in the second period led to Brantford's first goal of the night. Lawson Sherk, of the Bulldogs, used that to his advantage and scored the only power play goal of the night.
Marko Sikic took the lead back for Sarnia less than 7 minutes later.
Brantford scored twice, taking the lead in the third before LeBlanc's game-tying goal.
Sandis Vilmanis scored the overtime winner for the Sting.
Sarnia outshot Brantford 31-24. They weren't able to capitalize on their three power play opportunities.
The Sting are home to the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday for the annual Teddy Bear Toss game. You can catch the game live on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM).
