The municipality is recruiting volunteer firefighters for Fire Stations 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Lakeshore’s fire department has just under 100 volunteer firefighters serving five fire districts.

"Each fire district is unique in its building stock inventory, population, and emergency call volumes," the town said in a news release on Wednesday.

Applicants must live within the fire district to be served, and be physically able to perform the tasks and duties of the job.
