UPDATE: Suspect arrested in first-degree murder case.

The Windsor Police Service has arrested the sole at-large suspect in the death of Dalton Robert Bartnik.

In a tweet, police reported that Laura Cook was arrested Thursday morning in the area of Parent Avenue and Ellis Street. She is charged with first-degree murder.

Bartnik, 27, was last seen on March 24 and reported missing at the end of May.

Investigators believe Bartnik was murdered on or around April 1, but his remains have not been recovered.

Jeffrey Dorman, 29, Elizabeth Gaudette, 38, and Nzingha Plumb, 24, have also been charged with first-degree murder.

A warrant for first-degree murder has been issued for Daniel Gerow, 29, who is currently in custody on unrelated charges.

A 26-year-old has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
