Windsor calls on young artists to illustrate why they love Windsor

If you have a young artist in the family, aged 6 to 12, the City of Windsor wants them to enter its 8th Annual Children's Art Exhibition.

The theme this year is "What I Love About My City."

Selected entries will be displayed at Devonshire Mall, along with art from children living in some of Windsor's twin cities, from October 7 to October 13.

Some of Windsor's artwork will also go to city hall buildings in those twin cities, including Gunsan, South Korea; Changchun, China; Fujisawa, Japan; Mannheim, Germany; and Saltillo, Mexico.

The drawings must be on 10-inch by 16-inch paper and must be submitted by Monday, September 30.

The city said the project connects international communities and allows discussion about each city's similarities and differences.
