Suspect on bail re-arrested for bail and drug violations

A 22-year-old man on bail following firearm charges is in trouble again.

The man's most recent arrest was in December 2025, when he was arrested for alleged bail violations for the first time. He was granted bail again and had conditions imposed, including house arrest.

Windsor police since learned that the man had again violated bail conditions. On Wednesday afternoon, officers spotted the man driving in a vehicle on Reginald Street near Ford Boulevard.

Soon after, officers with the Bail Compliance Unit and the Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Unit tried to arrest the man as he left a business on Huron Church Road. He tried to run but was arrested after a brief chase and struggle.

When the man was searched, 6.7 grams of suspected cocaine were seized. His vehicle was towed, and the licence plates were confiscated.

Additional charges now include failure to comply with a release order and cocaine possession. He was also charged with driving while suspended and using an unauthorized licence plate.

The charges have not been proven in court.
