Windsor is gearing up for its 134th birthday celebrations at City Hall Square West this coming May 9.
The entire community is invited to come and enjoy entertainment from local performers, games and activities, recreation demonstration, and of course, free birthday cupcakes and hotdogs.
"The city's annual birthday celebration provides an exciting opportunity to celebrate some of what makes our city so special," said Mayor Drew Dilkens. "In just one year, City Hall Square has become a place to showcase Windsor's talent, celebrate its stories, and shape its future, with the renewal of the space having made significiant positive impacts on economic development, revitalization, tourism and hospitality."
The event starts at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m.
On that day, admission to Art Windsor-Essex and the Chimczuk Museum will be free from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Adventure Bay will offer the chance to win a family 4 pack to the water park. Starlight Admission pricing is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
