University of Guelph Conducting Precision Ag Research Study

The University of Guelph is looking for feedback from Southern Ontario farmers on the use of Precision Agriculture.

The study is focused mainly on how the technology is affected by broadband internet access - including the lack thereof.

The University notes research will also cover other factors that either facilitate or hinder the impact of precision ag on the sector.

Farmers are openly invited to take part in the study via an e-survey which should take about 15 minutes to complete.

The study is being funded by the Innovation and Growth Policy Division of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

Results will be made available in January on the Regional and Rural Broadband Project website, www.r2b2project.ca.
