No one was hurt after a fire sparked on the Highway 401, just outside of Chatham Friday afternoon.

Provincial police said a vehicle fire was reported around 1 p.m.
One of the eastbound lanes at Queen's Line near Tilbury was closed for a short period of time so that the roadway could be cleared.

Poor weather conditions played a role in a few separate crashes Friday morning. However, no charges have been laid in the following collisions.
Chatham-Kent police said a single-vehicle crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Queen's Line. No injuries were reported.
Shortly after, a collision was reported on Fairview Line around 7:40 a.m., where the driver suffered minor injuries.
Then at 8:17 a.m., police said a single-vehicle crash happened on Communication Road. The driver suffered minor injuries. Damage is pegged at $50,000.

A two-vehicle crash in Chatham Thursday evening has resulted in about $10,000 worth of damages.
Police said the crash happened on St. Clair Street street, near Regency Drive around 4:30 p.m. Minor injuries were reported.
A 59-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with making an improper turn.

A 63-year-old Blenheim woman has been charged with theft.
It's alleged that she stole $70 worth of merchandise from the Canadian Tire store in Chatham, located at 575 Grand Ave. W.
Police said the 63-year-old was later arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
