Crime of the Week – November 13, 2019

On Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at 9:00 pm the victim locked his red Schwinn 26” 3 wheel bicycle at the rear of the Lacroix Street Tim Hortons in Chatham.

Upon returning to the bicycle a short time later, he discovered that unknown suspects had stolen the bike. It is valued at over $500.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public assistance in returning the bicycle to the owner. If you have seen a red 3 wheel Schwinn bicycle with a carrier basket on the rear please call 519-351-8477 with your anonymous information. You could earn a cash reward.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
