Man found hiding in cellar
A 41-year-old Chatham man has been arrested after he allegedly showed up at a local woman's home even though he had been ordered not to go there.
Police said they found the man hiding in the cellar underneath the house after they received a call about a disturbance at the woman's home in Chatham.
According to police, the man they found in the cellar had been released from court back in August with several conditions, including one that required him not to attend the woman's home.
He was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Man accused of assaulting youth
A 40-year-old Chatham man is charged with assault after he allegedly pushed a 12-year-old boy to the ground in Chatham.
Police said the man approached the boy, who is known to his son, last week and yelled at him before taking matters into his own hands.
Officers said they arrested the man on Thursday in connection with the case. He was later released with a future court date.

Blenheim man charged with fraud
Chatham-Kent police have caught up with a 30-year-old Blenheim man who was wanted in connection with a fraud investigation.
Police said he was arrested Thursday night.
The accused was charged with several fraud-related offences and later released with a future court date.
