Just over 78 per cent of eligible residents in Sarnia-Lambton are fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
In its daily update, Lambton Public Health said that since the vaccination rollout started in late January, a total of 186,950 doses of vaccine have been administered to individuals aged 12 and up.
The health unit said 82.4 per cent have had one shot, while 78.1 per cent have had two doses.
No new cases of the virus were reported Wednesday, leaving the caseload at 4,005. The number of cases considered resolved increased by 11 to 3,878, lowering the active case count to 57.
There are three outbreaks, up one from Tuesday. The latest was declared at Confederation Central Public School where fewer than five confirmed infections have been reported.
Bluewater Health has four COVID-positive patients in hospital, unchanged from Tuesday.
