Man on house arrest caught driving around Chatham
A 21-year-old Chatham man is facing more charges after a traffic stop in the area of St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Police say the driver initially lied to officers about his identity. He was brought to police headquarters where police learned his real name.
They learned he was on house arrest and had conditions to not operate a vehicle.
The driver's license was suspended for three days and he was additionally charged with breaching court orders, obstructing police, and driving while suspended.

Two men arrested after argument over money turns violent
Chatham-Kent police arrested a 34-year-old man from Wallaceburg after an argument over money turned physical.
Police say the 34-year-old allegedly assaulted a 35-year-old man. He was arrested and released with a future court date.

Wallaceburg woman facing charges after hitting another car while driving drunk
A 25-year-old woman from Wallaceburg is facing an impaired driving charge after she struck another car while backing out of a driveway after a party.
Police say they arrested the female and brought her to headquarters where she was charged for impairment by alcohol.
She was later released with a future court date.

Chatham man with outstanding warrant arrested near Kettle Point
Police in Chatham-Kent were made aware that a 30-year-old Chatham man had been arrested by the Anishinabek Police Service on strength of a CKPS warrant.
The warrant was for charges including, failure to attend court, and possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose.
Officers from Chatham-Kent met with the Anishinabek Police Service and released the man with a future court date.
