Truck stolen from Ridgetown 

Chatham-Kent police are asking the public to keep their eyes peeled for a 2016 white Ford F-250 that was stolen from a business on Industrial Road in Ridgetown.

Police said the side of the truck had a decal that read "Great Lakes Door Systems" on it as well as an Ontario license plate that read BC63470 at the time it was stolen.

Police warn caution over carbon tax credit scam 

Chatham-Kent police say they have been receiving reports of another suspicious phone scam that claims to offer a carbon tax rebate.

The victims are asked for their personal financial information in order to deposit the credit into their accounts.

Warning signs include calls offering government-related tax benefits, unsolicited calls requesting personal and banking information, as well as unsolicited calls asking you to confirm your personal and financial information.

Police are urging the public to not give out their personal information and to be aware of unsolicited calls that ask for your name, address, birth date, SIN number, and banking information.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
