Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up – November 15, 2017

The LaSalle Vipers and Leamington Flyers ended in a 4-4 tie after double overtime on Wednesday.

Eric Kirby and Evan Ferguson both scored twice for LaSalle.

Preston Corp, Kenny Styles, Dylan Weston and Josh Pope-Ferguson all scored a goal for Leamington.

The Flyers are back on home ice on Thursday when they take on the London Nationals at 7:10pm. And then on Sunday, the Vipers head to St. Thomas to battle the Stars at 7:30pm.

Also in the GOJHL, the London Nationals beat the Komoka Kings 5-1.

Max Vinogradov led London with two goals, while Brett Primeau, Jordan Di Cicco and Mitchell Webb all scored once.

The Nationals are in Leamington on Thursday to face off against the Flyers at 7:10pm.

And in Junior C hockey, the Wallaceburg Lakers continued a long-running losing skid with a 4-1 loss to the Amherstburg Admirals.

Cory Burns, Dylan Muzzatti, Luc Warnock and Josh Talerico scored the four goals for Amherstburg.

Bailey Smith scored Wallceburg's only goal.

The Lakers are in Petrolia on Thursday to play the Flyers at 7:30pm. And then on Sunday, the Admirals return to Amherstburg to face the Petrolia Flyers at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
