Woodstock Men Face Sex-Related Charges

A total of four Woodstock men are facing several child porn and sex-related charges following a six month long investigation by police

Police say officers have executed several search warrants since the investigation was launched in September of 2014 by the Criminal Investigations Branch.

The first charges were laid that month. A man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the victims, faces charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching. He also faces two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography.

In November of 2014, charges were laid against 46-year-old Ken Nicholls. He faces two counts of possessing child pornography, one count of accessing child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography.

A month later in December, police arrested and charged 29-year-old Cody Mclay of Woodstock with voyeurism. He also faces charges of accessing child pornography and possessing child pornography.

Then, in February of 2015, police laid two counts of possessing child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography against 36-year-old John Kean of Woodstock.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
