You may once again see military vehicles on local highways, but there's no need for alarm.
Starting Thursday and ending Sunday, Canadian Army Reservists will be conducting military vehicle training at the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre in Meaford. The training will involve vehicles travelling on highways from Canadian Forces facilities in Windsor, London, Sarnia, Hamilton, and Barrie, according to a tweet from the 31 Canadian Brigade Group.

The training will involve reservists from the Windsor Regiment and 1st Hussars.
This will be the third time this year that vehicle training will take place on area highways. As in the previous cases, all vehicles will be unarmed. Reservists who are participating will stay with their vehicles at all times, except when maintenance is required. Soldiers may also have weapons on them, but they will not be loaded or used in any way.
The Canadian Army says that the training is necessary to develop skills with various vehicles and equipment.
While the public may take an interest in what the vehicles are doing, people are being asked to remain a safe distance away at all times. The Canadian Forces thank residents in advance for their cooperation and support.
