Snowy Start to New Year

The radar is showing an increase in flurry activity and that's making for a snowy drive around Midwestern Ontario.

Bruce County Roads crews are reporting track bare to snow covered and slippery roads throughout the area. Blowing snow is reducing visibility in some areas around Walkerton and Mildmay.

It's much the same story in Grey County where no roads are closed but crews say roads are track bare to snow covered in sections. Visibilityis good for the most part but reduced in flurries.

In Huron, Perth and Wellington there are no road closures but roads will be snow covered in sections. Visibility is fair in most areas with some light blowing snow.

There is still a snowsquall warning for the Bruce Peninsula. There is a snowsquall watch for southern Bruce County and all of Grey County.
