Waterloo opened the first period with three back-to-back goals, chasing Kitchener netminder Matthew Chan from net, en route to a 6-2 win over Kitchener in the GOJHL.
Winston Cestnick got things started for the Siskins just 26 seconds into the game. Zach Leonard made it 2-0 at 6:43 of the opening frame and Tyler Dam's power play goal at 10:59 made it 3-0.
Chan made four saves on seven shot before being replaced by Riley Daniels right after Dam's goal. Daniels made 17 saves on 20 shots in relief.
Ben Morris put the Dutchmen on the board at 15:41 of the first. Brett Schaefer scored with less than a-minute-and-a-half remaining in the period to make 4-1 Waterloo heading into the second.
Carter Tresoor scored on the power play to extend the Siskins lead in the first half of the second. Parker Casey added another in the final two minutes of the middle frame to give the Siskins a 6-1 lead heading into the third.
Chris Taylor scored early in the third to try an spark a Kitchener Rally but it wasn't meant to be.
The Siskins were 2-7 on the power play.
