A key supplier to Bruce Power opens a bigger office in Port Elgin Tuesday afternoon.
Global engineering firm Hatch has moved into a larger facility on Goderich Street in Port Elgin. It will accommodate 25 people, with more room for meeting space.
Hatch provides design engineering on key Bruce Power infrastructure projects, the design of mockups in support of the Major Component Replace project, and other work through an ongoing engineering support contract.
Hatch will be hosting an open house for clients and community members from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
To inspire more young people to pursue studies and careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, Hatch will present a financial donation to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in support of its LEGO® program, as well as toy donations to the Saugeen First Nation and the Nawash First Nation toy drive.
