Attack shutout on road by Flint

Owen Sound was unable to find the back of the net against the Flint Firebirds.

The Attack wound up losing 3-0 on the road Saturday night.

Flint came out firing in the first period, getting two goals in the first seven minutes. Kaden Pitre scored his 5th of the year, followed by Karlis Flugins who got his first career OHL goal.

Nathan Aspinall would extend the lead for Flint late in the period with his team leading 6th of the season.

This would cap the scoring as neither team would find the back of the net for the rest of the game.

Attack Goalie Carter George ended up making 29 saves in the loss, while Flint's Nathan Day would get the shutout after saving all 37 shots he faced.

With the loss, the Attack sees its record drop to 3-7-1-1, while Flint moves to 6-5-0-1.

Owen Sound's next game is on Sunday, October 27, on the road against the Saginaw Spirit.
