Police investigating recent mischief incidents, one person charged

Huron County OPP are looking for any information regarding a series of recent incidents in Blyth.

According to police, a series of incidents took place in the Village of Blyth between November 30 and December 1.

Police were told that an individual had trespassed and committed offences on several properties in Blyth.

Following an investigation, a 27-year-old from North Huron has been arrested and charged with a number of offences, including trespassing at night, criminal harassment, and being unlawfully in a dwelling or house.

The accused was arrested on December 11, processed at the Huron OPP detachment, and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody.

Huron County OPP are looking for any potential video surveillance footage or information. If anyone observed or had an interaction with a suspicious male between Nov 30 and December 1, police would like to hear from you. You can also report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
