Trick-or-Treat Trail returns to Owen Sound’s River District

Families looking for a spooktacular, family-friendly Halloween outing are invited to head to downtown Owen Sound this weekend as the annual Trick-or-Treat Trail makes its return on Saturday, October 31.

Running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the free community event features more than 32 participating River District businesses opening their doors to welcome local trick-or-treaters.

Event maps can be accessed digitally on the River District website or picked up in person during the event at the United Way Bruce Grey tent located in front of City Hall. While there are no street closures for the event, families are encouraged to safely explore the downtown footpaths while visiting participating shops, with free parking available throughout the River District. While kids collect their Halloween treats, parents and adults are encouraged to explore the local storefronts and support downtown merchants.

Organized by the merchants and members of the Owen Sound River District, the event offers a safe and lively way to celebrate Halloween morning while supporting the local business community. For additional information, community members can contact River District Coordinator Viveca Gravel at 519-376-4440 ext. 1209 or via email at [email protected].
