NOVA Chemicals has reported what it calls a small fire at its Corunna facility Sunday.
Spokesperson Meaghan Lawrence said on-site personnel responded, contained the fire immediately and the event was resolved quickly.
Lawrence said there were no additional impacts.
She said "out of an abundance of caution," the Chemical Valley Emergency Coordinating Organization (CVECO) was notified as part of the company's emergency response protocol.
