A non-resident patient with COVID-19 is no longer at Bluewater Health's Sarnia site.
Communications Chief Julia Oosterman said Tuesday a 61-year-old man admitted October 5 has been discharged and transferred to another hospital.
She said she can not say why he was discharged or where he was sent for privacy reasons. He had been in the Intensive Care Unit at Bluewater Health.
It was the hospital's first COVID positive case since June 15 and followed news that five positive cases and 14 close contacts had been identified aboard a Montreal-based ship at Sarnia Harbour.
Bluewater Health reported Wednesday on its website that it now has no COVID patients with 14 awaiting test results including pre-surgical screening.
Sarnia-Lambton's active case count increased by one over the past 24 hours.
Lambton Public Health reported two more confirmed cases and one more recovered case Monday night, leaving the active caseload at 11.
There are two active outbreaks.
Since the pandemic started, there have been 365 confirmed cases reported and 329 have been deemed resolved. The death toll is unchanged in over four months and stands at 25.
