Another cannabis retail store opens in Sarnia

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) is reporting the opening of a third regulated cannabis store in Sarnia.

True North Cannabis is now operating at 129 Mitton St. South.

There are another 11 applications for stores in the city waiting for approval. The latest to be filed is for The Hunny Pot Cannabis Co. at 1440 Quinn Drive.

Bluewater Joint was the first store to open, at 940 Murphy Rd., followed by Sessions Cannabis at 600 Murphy Rd.

Sarnia's Community Services Coordinator Sean Hanlon said some fan favourites are back this year, including the multicultural food booths, inflatables, the Handmade Market and a hula hoop fun zone.
