Ghosts, goblins and ghouls will be back in Lambton this fall, for the return of the county's favourite haunted forest ride.
Reapers Realm opens September 25 and will run every Friday and Saturday night in October, and Sunday, October 10.
Owner Chris Baxter explained what the haunted forest ride is like for those who've never been.
"We ride through a forest on an open-air bus with no roof, we have a haunted house to go through, and we have food truck and vendors out there, so it's a little bit of everything."
Baxter said it feels good to be back for a 20th year after the event was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
He said every Reapers Realm is different from the last, and that the event is fun for all ages.
"It's new every year. This year we had two haunted houses but we merged them together to make one mega haunted house, and the haunted forest ride too, so there's two separate things you can do," he said. "We have some kids that are like five-years-old and go through the bus ride and love it, so it's good for everybody."
Baxter said the attraction usually gets between 5,000 to 10,000 people each year. He added that they've received quite a bit of feedback since announcing it was returning.
"So far, it's been very good. People are just wanting to go out and do something."
It's $20 per person to ride the bus. It's $25 to ride the bus and go through the haunted house on site.
