Lambton County's new roundabout in Warwick Township is nearly complete after almost three months of construction.
Construction supervisor Glen Hamill said the finishing touches are being done this week.
"A final lift of asphalt, line painting and some hydro-seeding, the lights are operational, that's what they need to get done," said Hamill. "So, they'll be here once the rain has stopped and get the rest of those items complete."
He said the amount of workers on site has reduced significantly.
"Right now there's a skeleton crew out there finishing small items, until the paving crew can get there to finish that top coat. Then there will be a couple sub contractors to finish up those other items."
He expects the roundabout to be open by the end of next week.
Hamill said the county has been talking about releasing some videos on its website to educate drivers on how to use the roundabout.
In August, the county requested OPP presence at the site due to safety concerns.
The new roundabout has been estimated to cost $3.3 million.
