Members of the public can now dine in for lunch at Lambton College's recently rebranded Capstones Bistro.
The student-run bistro is open Thursdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Bistro Instructor Joe Paquette said Lambton College's culinary program allows students to experience service in three areas with Café, Bistro, and Chef's Table.
The fine dining student-run restaurant reopened last summer after being rebranded.
Capstones Bistro will be open for the next eight weeks, except on March 2 and March 3 for reading week.
The lunch menu includes handheld items and is available for take-out. Frozen meals are also available.
"The students are busy everyday… Anything we've made in class, we'll package up and sell to the community at a really reasonable price," said Paquette. "I think it's one of Sarnia's best-kept secrets, in my opinion.
Reservations are not required at Capstones Bistro but parties of five or more people or those with dietary restrictions are encouraged to call ahead. https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/capstones/
