A large dust collection system caught fire in Sarnia's southeast end Monday morning.
Sarnia Fire Rescue was called to a blaze on Gladwish Drive near Plank Road at around 9:15 a.m.
Chief Fire Prevention Officer Roel Bus said the fire was found to be inside an aggregate dust collection system.
"Some internal seals were burning, whereas the dust was contained to filter bags," said Bus in a media release. "Swift action by responding firefighters kept the damage to this one structure."
Bus said no injuries were reported, and that a damage estimate is not available.
Sarnia Fire Rescue was also called to a blaze at a campsite behind Quinn Drive at around 8 p.m. Monday.
Bus said when firefighters arrived on scene, wooden and plastic structures, and some trees were on fire.
"There was nobody around, and the fires were quickly extinguished," he said.
No other information was available at the time of the media release.
