Kettle Point man wins $173K playing OLG poker

A Kettle and Stony Point man won more than $170,000 playing OLG's Poker Lotto game.

On September 1, William Powell anted up to win the 'All In' jackpot worth $168,263.10. Powell also won $5,000 on the instant portion of his ticket, bringing his total winnings to $173,236.10.

The winning ticket was purchased at Zavitz General Store on Main Street in Thedford.

In a media release, OLG said Poker Lotto players can opt for 'All In' for an additional $1 to take a chance on instantly winning a jackpot that starts at $10,000 and grows until it's won.
