Tourism Sarnia-Lambton (TSL) is bringing several local craft beverage producers under one roof for "Cheers Fest" at Widder Station in Thedford on March 9.
Spokesperson Shaelyn Wagenaar said the event will feature 14 producers from the area who specialize in wines, ciders, and craft beers.
"Drinks are purchased through tokens, we have samples [but] full size is available," she said. "There'll be food available from Widder Station's restaurant, and we have some special circus acrobatic performances from Vertical Air out of London as well. It should be really exciting [with] lots to do and lots to see at the event."
Wagenaar said aside from the performances, there will also be a live entertainer to provide music during each of the time slots, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tickets to enter the event are $20 and sample tokens are $2.50. Full-size drinks will cost three tokens.
TSL has partnered with hotels and motels in the Lambton Shores area to provide discounts to out-of-town guests.
"We definitely want to see if we can get as many out-of-town people into the area as we can and really showcase all of the creativity and the talents that reside within the beverage industry here in Sarnia-Lambton," Wagenaar said.
Through a partnership with Wave Limo and Tours, free shuttle services will also be provided from select locations.
