OPP seek driver who left crash scene

Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking the public for help in identifying a driver involved in a crash last week.

OPP said emergency crews were called to a collision at the intersection of Highway 40 and Rokeby Line in St. Clair Township just before 2 p.m. on June 25.

According to police, the crash happened when one vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign, causing another vehicle to leave the roadway and hit a pole.

The driver who struck the pole was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver who ran the stop sign left the scene before officers arrived, police said.

A photo of the involved vehicle has been included above.

Anyone who has any information about the driver or vehicle, may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage of the inceident is asked to contact Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
