Alvinston dispute leads to arrest

Lambton OPP say a 57-year-old from Brooke-Alvinston was arrested and charged following a disturbance earlier this week.

Officers were dispatched to an address on River Road in Alvinston at around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24.

An investigation determined a dispute had occurred between two individuals.

Although police said no injuries were reported, one person was arrested and charged with assault under the criminal code.

OPP said the accused has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on August 18.
