Sarnia police say a suspect wanted for the shooting death of a local junior hockey player has been arrested.
Few details have been released, but police posted on social media on Monday evening that 24-year-old Kyaw "Chin" Doe had been apprehended in the Dane Nisbet case.
Doe was wanted for second-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, and possession of a firearm while prohibited.
He had been the subject of a Canada-wide warrant. There has been no immediate word on the circumstances of Doe's arrest.
Nisbet, 20, died in the early morning hours of Friday, April 10, when someone opened fire outside a bar on the Lambton College campus.
Two other people were wounded.
