The latest in a series of snow-making weather systems will make for another stormy day Friday.
Environment Canada has a special weather statement in effect for Sarnia-Lambton.
Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says snow, from a disturbance out of the U.S. Plains states, will begin to fall after midnight.
"There could already be a couple of centimetres of snow on the ground by the time most folks are heading out the door to head to work and then that snow continues through much of the day on Friday, heavy at times, with perhaps an additional 10 centimetres," says Coulson. "At this point, it looks like for Sarnia and Lambton County in general, 10 cm to 15 cm between the early morning hours Friday and the evening hours."
Heavier snow amounts are expected to the south with Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex getting up to 20 cm (8 inch).
Coulson says two more weather systems may bring a few more centimetres of snow Saturday and Sunday.
Police urge drivers to adjust to changing conditions.
