Horwath Makes Final Push In Sarnia-Lambton (GALLERY)

Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath held a rally next to the St. Clair River during a stop in Sarnia-Lambton Wednesday afternoon.

Around 60 people listened and cheered as Horwath, alongside local candidate Kathy Alexander, spoke of a need for change in the province.

"What I'm hearing everywhere is that it's not about blue, orange or red so much as it is about what people need to build a better life in Ontario," says Horwath. "That's why we put a platform forward, quite some time ago, that shows people that we don't have to keep going from Conservatives to Liberals, Liberals to Conservatives with families being at the short end of the stick every single time."

The NDP leader visited Sarnia-Lambton on the same day as PC Leader Doug Ford.

Horwath responded to Ford's claim that an NDP government would drive businesses away from the province.

"Fear-mongering is a tactic Mr. Ford likes to engage, but I guess we'd have to ask Mr. Ford if he would take his business out of Ontario if the NDP get elected," she says.

Horwath's second visit to the riding was held at Bayshore Park.
