An historic military aircraft took to the sky above Sarnia-Lambton on Thursday.
The B-25 bomber "Maid In The Shade" was built in 1944 and flew 15 combat missions during the Second World War.
Retired Royal Canadian Air Force Major Noel Funge, who spent 80 hours in a B-25 over his 32 years in the Air Force, was treated to a ride.
He says the flight brought back a lot of memories.
"It's a great feeling to go back 60 years and feel the throttle of the old engines," says Funge. "To me, I can't express how wonderful it is to see people maintain something that has such a wonderful history of the war and what was achieved."
Funge joined the Air Force in 1952 and retired in 1985. He spent 11,000 hours in aircrafts during his career.
Retired Sergeant Ed Jones, who was in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1960 to 1981, also went up for a ride.
He says the smell of the bomber was exactly what he remembered.
"It was pretty warm. We were in the back with four of us, but we did get to go back to the tailgun position where you have to crawl on your hands and knees," says Jones. "So you have to be very careful with where you're moving around. It's a low ceiling and there are a lot of sharp edges."
Jones flew 3,500 hours in a four engine plane over his time in the Air Force.
The B-25 "Maid In The Shade" will be at the Chris Hadfield Airport until July 15.
You can head down for a tour or a flight on the aircraft until Sunday.
